German woman killed 5 of her newborn baby

A woman aged 28 years in Germany confessed to killing her newborn baby five in recent years, according to police on Thursday. The woman has now been charged with five counts of murder.The government in the city of Flensburg said that women who do not identify his name admitted killing two babies that his body was found in a paper recycling and car park in March 2006 and March 2007.During examination, he also later confessed to killing three more baby and keep the body in the basement in case of a previously unknown, according to police and prosecutors in a joint press conference.Officials said the autopsy found no indication of the cause or the exact time of death of the babies."It is important to emphasize that there are no other people involved in these actions," said police spokesman Dirk Czarnetzki reporters."No one knows about the pregnancy or the birth of these children," he said.Women are now in custody is married and has two children ages 8 and 10.The husband did not intend to add to their family members, prosecutors said Ulrike Stahlmann-Liebelt."The wife worried about her husband would leave her if he knew about (the birth of another) because he did not want any more children," said Stahlmann-Liebelt. "He felt not know where else to go. He never thought of contraception and have in recent years never went to a gynecologist."Husband suspects who received counseling were described as "very distraught". He said the police did not know anything about these pregnancies.The suspect managed to conceal her pregnancy with "shut up and wear loose clothing," the prosecutor added. "Two children were born at home, the other three in the woods."Stahlmann-Liebelt said that the investigation is now in the early stages and have not been able to estimate the penalty to be imposed.Authorities have tested saliva on "hundreds of women in the area" after two bodies were found in 2006 and 2007.The suspect was asked to give saliva test on Tuesday and he surrendered himself shortly afterward, said Czarnetzki.The family had no privileges and no special attention from social service agencies.Infanticide is not a unique crime in Germany, some well-known cases made headlines this year.In March, women age 33 sentenced to 13 years after being accused of killing three babies shortly after birth.Police also are investigating the mother of three babies were found dead April, according to the mother of his children stillborn.Yet this is the worst case in Germany since 2005, when a woman was sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing her newborn baby 8.In such cases, the baby's body was found in buckets and flower pots while cleaning the garage at the house where the woman lives with her husband, and in an old fish pond in her parents' house.The woman was also charged with murder of baby-9, was born in 1988, but the court decided that the time to prosecute the murder had passed.source: yahoo.news
